Please be aware that we are a small, sparsley-populated township, township positions are part time, and we do not have regular office hours. About Us

Weldon Township is located in Benzie County, Michigan and includes the west half of the Village of Thompsonville. Within the township are miles of public land open to hunting and many other outdoor activities, which includes miles of hiking, cross-country skiing, and snowmobile trails. Note that there are also many parcels of private land in between the public land, so please be careful and respect the rights of landowners. The Betsie River runs through the township with many points of access. The Betsie is well known for its Steelhead and Salmon runs.
