Weldon
Township Property Owners
Fall Clean-Up Day
from 9 AM until 1 PM at Northern Disposal
at Gallagher
Road and Second
Street.
Proof of property
ownership / residency in Weldon Township (i.e.,
tax notice or utility
bill/driverís license)
must be presented to dispose of your items.
Only one (1) 4 ft x 8 ft
trailer or pickup load will be allowed per
residential address.
Anything larger or
additional loads will be charged $35 a yard by
Northern Disposal.
Please come prepared to
unload your items.
WE CANNOT ACCEPT: Household
garbage, yard
waste (leaves, grass
clippings, etc.) hazardous waste (i.e., paint,
oil, etc.), tires,
general appliances (i.e.,
televisions, computers, etc.), and any appliances
containing
Freon (i.e.,
refrigerators).
WE CAN ACCEPT: Old
furniture, mattresses, metal, washing machines,
dryers,
etc.
Landlords, please notify
your renters.

About
Us
Weldon Township
is located in Benzie
County, Michigan and
includes the west half of the Village of
Thompsonville. Within
the township are miles of
public land open to hunting and many other
outdoor activities,
which includes miles of
hiking, cross-country skiing, and snowmobile
trails. Note
that there are also many
parcels of private land in between the public
land, so please
be careful and respect
the rights of landowners. The Betsie River runs
through the
township with many points
of access. The Betsie is well known for its
Steelhead and
Salmon runs.
