has scheduled a Special Meeting, starting at 4:30
PM at the Weldon
Township Hall, 14731 Thompson Ave, Thompsonville, MI. A
Public Hearing will be held
to discuss an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance for property
on King Road.

Weldon Township Planning
Commission will hold a Public Hearing at a special
meeting at 6:30
PM at the Weldon Township Hall, 14731 Thompson Ave,
Thompsonville, MI. The following
application is scheduled to be heard:
On
Ordinance to amend the Zoning
Ordinance of the Township of Weldon for a temporary
moratorium on data centers. The
Township desires to ascertain the most appropriate and safest
means for regulating
the use of lands, building or structures for Data Centers, in
order to protect the
health, safety, and welfare of Township residents.

address by appointment,

About Us
Weldon Township is located in Benzie
County, Michigan and includes the west half
of the Village of Thompsonville. Within
the township are miles of public land open to
hunting and many other outdoor activities,
which includes miles of hiking, cross-country
skiing, and snowmobile trails. Note
that there are also many parcels of private
land in between the public land, so please
be careful and respect the rights of
landowners. The Betsie River runs through the
township with many points of access. The
Betsie is well known for its Steelhead and
Salmon runs.
