will meet at 10:00
AM to correct qualified errors and to
consider appeals
related to Principal
Residence Exemptions, Qualified Agricultural
Exemptions, Taxable
Value uncapping, the
Qualified Start-up Business Exemption, the
Disabled Veteranís
Exemption, and Poverty
Exemptions.

You have the right to
appeal in-person during the posted time. If you
cannot make
an in-person appeal, you
also have the option of appealing with a letter.
Letter
appeals are due in the
Weldon Township Office by 4:00 PM on Friday July
17, 2026.

About
Us
Weldon Township
is located in Benzie
County, Michigan and
includes the west half of the Village of
Thompsonville. Within
the township are miles of
public land open to hunting and manyother outdoor
activities,
which includes miles of
hiking, cross-country skiing, and snowmobile
trails. Note
that there are also many
parcels of private land in between the public
land, so please
be careful and respect
the rights of landowners. The Betsie River runs
through the
township with many points
of access. The Betsie is well known for its
Steelhead and
Salmon runs.
